Anna’s band @cosmikdebrisatl (Guitar Shed Rock Ensemble) will perform a benefit concert with all proceeds going to the Anna McDaniel Scholarship Fund. More info on the scholarship can be found on our website.

Please help us welcome our newest voice teacher, Jada Henderson, to the Guitar Shed family!

Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Jada came in contact with an array of music genres at an early age. A singer, songwriter and composer, Jada believes that music technology and creation are important parts of music learning. Receiving her B.A. in Music Performance and Composition from Spelman College, Jada has been trained in classical, jazz and modern singing techniques. She has also performed as an opening act for artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Chrisette Michelle, Elle Varner, and soul legends Frankie Beverly and Maze. In addition to performing center stage, Jada has also supported jazz vocalist Kathleen Bertrand as a background singer.

Jada encourages her students to reach musical heights through encouragement and fun learning. She believes that an important key to educating and learning is a sense of humor. Jada also incorporates pedagogy from various music cultures in her teaching to tailor lessons to the needs of each student. To ensure the growth of well rounded musicians, Jada’s teaching incorporates lessons in vocal health, theory and performance strengthening. the highest of their abilities.

Jada has openings on Sundays. Reach out to the front desk to book your voice lessons!
